As the lead mentor on the Purina® Cat Chow® WAY OF LIFE® Experience, I travel across the country educating cat enthusiasts on how to care for their cats' physical, emotional, and nutritional health during each life stage. In that role I conduct C.A.T. (Cat Attitude Training) demonstrations to help cat owners learn how to bring out the best personalities in their feline friends, as well as one-on-one counseling sessions with event attendees. I also help facilitate adoptions with local shelter partners at each tour stop.
Before joining the Purina® Cat Chow® WAY OF LIFE® Experience, I was an associate veterinarian with The Cat Practice, a feline-only veterinary clinic located in Birmingham, Michigan. I provided medical care for cats of all ages, including comprehensive kitten care and counseling, geriatric care, ultrasound, dentistry, and surgery.
I have also worked as a naturalist at the Minnesota Zoological Gardens, where I provided narrative programs interpreting animal displays and behavior and the natural habitat of the zoo grounds.
I earned my doctor of veterinary medicine degree from Kansas State University and my bachelor's degree, with majors in biology and psychology, from St. Olaf College. I'm a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, American Association of Feline Practitioners, and Southeastern Michigan Veterinary Medical Association. |

| Cats need a quiet private place to relax and sleep. A covered bed provides a den-like atmosphere that your cat will enjoy. Consider placing your cat's bed in a quiet area of the home. |
